What Clippr is
Clippr is operated by TakNex Labs Co., Ltd.
Clippr is a marketplace. It connects you with independent beauty pros who travel to you, and it runs the parts around the service: finding a pro, booking a time, holding and settling the payment, and keeping the record of what happened.
The beauty service itself is provided by the pro, not by Clippr. Pros are independent — they are not employees or agents of Clippr, and they set their own prices, their own hours and their own service area.
Your account
You need an account to book. You must be 18 or older to hold one.
Keep your details accurate. Your address and phone number are what a pro uses to reach you, and a wrong one is what turns into a no-show that somebody pays for.
One person, one account. What happens under yours is your responsibility.
Booking and paying
Bookings are paid from a credit balance you top up by card. Card details are entered on Stripe's own pages and never reach Clippr.
When you create a booking the full price is reserved from your balance. It has not been spent — it goes to the pro only once the job is done — but it is committed, so you cannot spend it on something else in the meantime.
The money reaches the pro when you confirm the job is finished. If you do not confirm within 24 hours of the pro marking it complete, it settles on its own, so a pro is not left unpaid because nobody reopened the app.
If no pro accepts your request within 48 hours, it closes on its own and the whole reservation returns to your balance. This costs you nothing.
You pay the price the pro lists. Clippr adds no booking fee on top of it — Clippr's commission comes out of the pro's side after the job is done. Tips are optional and go to the pro in full.
Cancelling
Before any pro has accepted, withdrawing your request costs 0.1% of the price and the rest is returned immediately. It is priced to be felt and not to hurt.
Once a pro has accepted, cancelling more than 24 hours before the appointment is free — the slot can still be filled.
Inside that 24 hours, or at any point once the pro is on their way to you, half the price goes to the pro and the rest is returned. They have lost the slot either way, and once they are travelling they have lost the trip too.
The charge is worked out and shown to you before you confirm the cancellation.
Rescheduling
A booking can be moved to a new time, but only if both sides agree. One side proposes the new time and the other accepts it; until then the original appointment stands.
More than 24 hours before the appointment this is free — the same notice period that makes a cancellation free, for the same reason.
Inside that window, a change you ask for costs 20% of the price, which goes to the pro, and Clippr takes its usual commission on that amount. It is charged when the pro accepts, not when you propose it — nothing is charged for an offer that was refused.
It is less than cancelling at the same notice, which is half the price, and that is the point: moving a booking should never be the more expensive way out of it.
A change the *pro* asks for is free to you. They are asking the favour, so there is nothing for you to pay.
If somebody does not turn up
If you are not there when the pro arrives, they can close the booking as a no-show 15 minutes after the appointment time. Half the price goes to them for the trip and the slot, and the rest returns to your balance.
If the pro does not turn up, you can close it the same way after the same 15 minutes, and you are refunded in full. It also counts against that pro's standing.
The 15 minutes is deliberate on both sides: traffic, a slow lift, and somebody three minutes behind all resolve themselves inside it.
For pros
Working through Clippr means applying with an ID document, a criminal-record certificate and a portfolio. Before submitting, you must give explicit consent for Clippr to collect and review the criminal-record certificate only to verify your eligibility to work through the platform. Approval is at Clippr's discretion and can be withdrawn.
You are responsible for your own tools, hygiene, insurance, tax, and any licence your work requires. You are not employed by Clippr.
Commission is deducted when a job settles, and your settled earnings are withdrawn to your own bank account through Stripe. The rate depends on your standing.
You can also lower the rate for a fixed period by buying an add-on package with your own Clippr credits. The rate a package gives you is fixed onto each booking when the booking is made, so a job booked before the package ends keeps it. Purchases are final and are not refunded, in part or in whole, when a package runs out.
Cancelling jobs you have accepted, or failing to turn up, affects that standing — it can raise your commission, push you down in search, or lead to suspension.
How to behave
No harassment, discrimination, threats or unsafe conduct, in the app or at the appointment. Either side may end an appointment they do not feel safe in, and should report it.
Do not arrange payment outside Clippr for a booking made here. It removes every protection on this page from both of you.
No fake accounts, no reviews for jobs that did not happen, no automated access to the service.
Suspension, and closing your account
Clippr may suspend or close an account for breaking these terms, for fraud, or for conduct that puts somebody at risk.
You can close your own account from Account → Settings. Open bookings have to finish or be cancelled first, and any balance withdrawn, because closing an account cannot be allowed to strand somebody else's money.
Refunds and disputes
The rules above run automatically. Anything beyond them — a job that went wrong, a charge you do not recognise — is decided case by case, and the sooner you raise it the more of the record there is to look at.
If you raise a dispute with your bank instead, it is handled through Stripe, and the credits from that payment are taken back from your balance.
What Clippr is and is not responsible for
The beauty service is performed by an independent pro, and Clippr does not direct how they work. Clippr is responsible for running the platform honestly: matching you fairly, holding and moving money correctly, and keeping an accurate record of both.
Nothing on this page removes a right you have under Thai consumer protection law.
Changes, and the law that applies
These terms can change. A change that affects what you pay or what you agreed to is announced in the app before it takes effect.
Thai law governs these terms, and the courts of Thailand have jurisdiction over any dispute under them.
